DB Real Estate – who we are

DB Real Estate was formed by Nigel Dickason who has been dealing with commercial property transactions throughout the wider Thames Valley and Surrey areas for approaching 30 years. Immediately prior to establishing DB Real Estate, Nigel was a partner of Baker Davidson Thomas and opened the Blackwater Valley office in 1999, from 1990 to 1999 Nigel was an Associate Partner of Vail Williams and worked in both the Camberley and the Staines/Egham offices.

In today's market, dealing with commercial property transactions successfully requires not only in depth market knowledge but also comprehensive and innovative marketing initiatives/techniques, great negotiating skills, lateral thinking and a huge amount of tenacity and at DB Real Estate we provide this for all our clients.  We also provide a more regional coverage from our offices in Camberley and Woking.

Whilst Nigel is the principal director of DB Real Estate, he is supported by a number of very able and experienced consultants and support staff.

 

Specific projects

Below is a list of key projects Nigel has been responsible for:

• The marketing and letting of 110,000 sq ft of various industrial units at The Goldsworth Park Trading Estate, Kestrel Way, Woking, on behalf of LaSalle Investment Management Ltd/Coal Pension Properties.

• The acquisition of a 9 acre development site comprising the refurbishment of 80,000 sq ft of factory space and the development of 30,000 sq ft of offices and the subsequent sales and lettings, at Bessemer Road, Basingstoke, on behalf of Anglo Park Developments.

• The disposal of 35,000 sq ft of offices on Frimley Business Park on behalf of Adia UK plc.

• The marketing and letting of 45,000 sq ft of industrial units to 7 “trade counter” occupiers at Nelson Way, Camberley, on behalf LaSalle Investment Management Ltd/Coal Pension Properties Ltd.

• The marketing and letting of 200,000 sq ft of offices on the Farnborough Aerospace Centre, Farnborough, on behalf of Arlington Securities plc/British Aerospace plc.

• The marketing and letting of 64,000 sq ft of offices at Fleetwood Park, Fleet, on behalf of MEPC.

• The marketing and letting of various small industrial units and offices at Craven Court, Camberley, on behalf of The Ellis Campbell Group

• The marketing and letting of 22,000 sq ft of offices at Guildford Street, Chertsey and the subsequent freehold sale of the property on behalf of United Biscuits (UK) Ltd.

• The freehold sale of 28,000 sq ft of industrial accommodation at 2 Doman Road, Camberley, following negotiations to surrender two existing occupational leases, on behalf of LaSalle Investment Management Ltd/Coal Pension Properties Ltd.

• The marketing and letting of 180,000 sq ft of warehousing at Sunbury on behalf of ICI Paints.

• The marketing and freehold disposal of a 25,000 sq ft office and production facility in Bordon, on behalf of Molex Electronics.

• The marketing and letting of a 50,000 sq ft office scheme at Eastworth House, Eastworth Road, Chertsey, on behalf of Welbeck Lane & Scottish Widows.

• The location and acquisition of 3 x 9,000 sq ft of offices at Frimley Business Park, on behalf of Mercury Interactive UK Ltd

• The planning, development, marketing and letting of 21,000 sq ft offices at Ancells Business Park, Fleet, on behalf of Rohde & Schwarz (Rusint Property (UK) Ltd) and the subsequent re-letting of 14,000 sq ft.

• The location and acquisition of 22,000 sq ft of offices, off the market, at Pinehurst Park, Farnborough, plus the re-negotiation and lease extension of an existing 24,000 sq ft production facility in Farnborough on behalf of Tellit Communications Ltd.

• The marketing and letting of 54,000 sq ft of production/warehousing at Camberley on behalf of LaSalle Investment Management Ltd/Coal Pension Properties Ltd.

• The location and acquisition of 30,000 sq ft of offices at Spectrum Point, Farnborough, on behalf of Qualcomm (UK) Ltd and the ongoing re-structuring of leases agreeing break clauses and rent free periods.
